Tony Purnell, founder of the Pi Group, Cambridge (and currently the boss of Red Bull Racing F1 team)

What nibble do you reach for when in need of inspiration and why?  Do you have a particular dish that gets your creative juices flowing or a food that gets your brain racing with ideas?
…guess if I really want to get my brain racing I'd recommend a can of Red Bull, hardly gourmet but it does the job like no other.

Serious thinking is achieved in the bathtub, with a nice glass of wine.

To eat, well to be frank there's little doubt that the last thing I would do if I wanted to generate idea's is to have a big meal.  I think there's some evidence that being somewhat hungry is best for stimulating the mind.  So perhaps no breakfast or lunch to speak of and then a really nice dressed crab for dinner.  I'd be hungry, be given something I love to eat, but providing I go with just some light vegetables and stay away from eating too much bread, I'd still be hungry and sharp.

Of course if I want to do what feels like my very best thinking I'd have ten glasses of wine with dinner…
